diabetes articles 2008
Only a small update. I was diagnosed with diabetes in August 2008 and I continue my struggle to keep my blood sugar under control since that time. I have this experience called a yo-yo book. It seems like a meal, it is down, but then again, it will tip. This is just a journal of the experience with the hope of someone who the Learning is to give experience to deal with diabetes from someone on this trip.

If you are not yet on my first education class about diabetes Proposal is, one is found. Go to the American Diabetes Association Web site at diabetes.org and locate a class near where you live. It helped me in a massive Way. I have much needed information.

One of the things I've learned is through carbohydrates. Carb One serving equals 15 grams carbohydrates book. It is also a carb replacement. You need to learn to read the labels. If you eat too many carbohydrates in one setting to increase your blood sugar. Our body need some carbohydrates to produce insulin, but if we eat too many carbohydrates, it does not produce enough insulin to lower blood sugar levels. (These are my Conditions and non-scientific or medical, you need to do your own research for your body). If you have not seen a doctor, that a good start is. I also have a support group I with a registered nurse and dietitian lead the group.

I do two or three carbohydrates at a meal to eat without my sugar spiking. (I call it spiking but the high blood sugar). There are starchy vegetables that increase your blood sugar level will cause. Some spices, too. You need to learn how they affect your body by testing. I will not go into the discussion here, as I read in another article, The article on banking in the bio-box below to find it. In the middle of this you must make sure what you eat has no impact on your heart does not. Have I told you need to educate yourself?

Learning to read labels. If the label shows that include the food has 35 grams of carbohydrates, then, The two carbohydrates, but remember that you 5 grams more than just two. If there is 41 grams, then include that three, even if you do not eat exactly 45 grams.

Fiber also counts. When dietary fiber is 5 grams or more, you can deduct the grams from the total because they are removed from the body. Sorry, 4 grams or down does not count. So check the label and looking for something that is 5 grams or more. In the above example with the 41 grams carbohydrates, 5 grams of fiber you will receive only 36 g carbohydrate, 2 of which would count. If you are always in grams more than you might have difficulties to be as safe and careful, dass

I will be on food that have worked for me in another article. About the Author:
