FDA has approved inhaled insulin (Exubera® from Pfizer, Inc) in January 2006 for treatment of diabetic individuals who require insulin therapy.

Coffee consumption
A recent study reported in the November (2006)
issue of Diabetes Care showed that coffee consumption with
an average of 2.8 cups/day reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes by 64%
